Final Reflection:

   Design principles as a module taught me more than appearance; they make the rhythm of visual narrative visible. Balance provides a quiet harmony, putting each element in its correct position, and contrast adds depth to the ordinary by making it unexpected. Proportion guides the eye with an implicit reasonableness, and repetition weaves consistency into the fabric of a design.

Every stroke, every space, every shadow has a purpose—simplicity communicates the voice that at times fewer things may say more, and emphasis requires attention and directs the eye of the viewer. Designing, a student does not just learn where to put the pieces, but how to express feeling, generate energy, and convey meaning to form. It is not just about what is seen, but what is felt—design is a tongue, and its laws are the verse of expression.                            

  I truly enjoyed how learning the fundementals actually helped me progress in creating more unique and innovative ideas. I use to struggle with being creative consistenly but after learning these fundementals i was surprised to see how many ideas i was able to generate with. Out of all the tasks, task 2 was my favourite, with experiementing and tapping into incorporating my artstyle into a pre-existing art from another artist. This process made me realize my appreciation towards community of artists that help each other, who knew that building up from what already exists and make it personalized, takes a whole skill set to master. 
 
During this module, i did initially struggle with writing up a rationale for an artwork, exploring the relationships between eleements and what could that possible imply, keeping in mind the artists intent. But through that process i learnt about how deeply i see the world, and the meaning behind it. My view point could be extremely different from another, yet it doesnt lose its power.

 Overall i would say, this modue has changed the way i critically look at an artwork, helping me absorb the impact of an artwork through the simple yet profound foundations. This is extremely useful as a designer myself, because now, this skill would open up more inpiration for me. One thing that stays the same trhoughout teh journey, would be my artstyle and preferneces. These qualities define me as an artist and I've learnt own it. 

From this module, I aspire to be able to provide valuable critique or comments that are not just constructive but also articulate and relevant towards any design or artwork I evaluate. My dream has always been to be a fashion crtique and this module has suprisingly brought back that spark in me.

Visual Analysis Assignment Brief After Task 1, according to our MIB we proceed to Visual analysis. This is a pretty cool method used to understand design by examining its visual elements and principles.  Its a process to dive deeper into the art work, through multiple filters. Introduction to Fashion Design

 Unfortunately i wasnt present during the first week as my visa took time to come.  there would be more updates the following weeks.... WEEK 2   BASIC SHIRT DETAILINGS RESEARCH COMPILATION We studied the minute intricacies that go into a simple shirt in my "Introduction to Fashion Design" class. Every component, from collars to cuffs, adds to the overall style and usefulness. I increased my awareness of the countless options in shirt details by compiling five different styles for every shirt component as part of our homework. For this task, making a presentation was just as enlightening as the study. I went about the method as follows: 1.   Task 3 Brief : For this task, I finally get to turn my idea into an actual design!  After the visual analysis, I now need to pick one of the three ideas I proposed in Task 2 and develop it further. This means experimenting with color, composition, typeface, and positioning while keeping design principles in mind. I can use any medium to bring my concept to life, making sure it effectively conveys my visual message. I intend to continue with the medium of digital artwork The final design should be in A4 size,  and labeled properly. Along with the design, I need to write a 200-word rationale explaining why I made certain design choices, the meaning behind my work, and the design principles I applied. Since this is a work-in-progress task, I have to check in with my lecturer every week to show updates and get feedback—plus, attendance is marked during these consultations.
